Advanced Computer Engineering Graphics

Our task was to make a car that could turn into a boat with just a ten minute break between races. Our challenge was to be able to race the car along a path to a finish line and to race the boat the whole distance of the pool. Jenna and R.J. were my team members. We started with foamcore, ply wood, axles, gears, a motor, a battery, and a solar panel. It was our job to design and create the car/boat. We laser cut our wheels and 3d printed a motorholder, solar panel holder, stops for the wheels, and rims to help the water stay out of the foam core. Our group won first place in the car race and the pool race. We were the only team that was able to get across the pool. Please see the other pages for more information, pictures, and videos.
